Section 29


29(1) The Council shall keep a register called the Osteopathic Register in which shall be entered the name, address and qualifications of all persons who are entitled under this Act to be registered therein.

29(2) Council may direct the Registrar to enter in the Osteopathic Register the name, address and qualifications of any person who

(a) is a graduate of an osteopathic school approved by Council;

(b) has clinical training equivalent to a program of pre-registration physician training satisfactory to Council;

(b.1) produces a letter of good standing from all jurisdictions in which he had practised osteopathy prior to applying under this section;

(c) passes such examinations as are prescribed by Council; and

(d) complies with the requirements of section 34.

29(3) Upon receiving a direction from Council mentioned in subsection (3), the Registrar shall

(a) enter the name, address and qualifications of the person named therein in the Osteopathic Register; and

(b) issue a licence to such person for such period, and upon such conditions as Council may direct.
